Phillip Noyce Developing ‘Captain Blood’ Remake

It looks like one of my favorite Errol Flynn movies is going to be remade. In fact, I just listened to the old time radio version by the Lux Radio Theater (February 1937) the other day.
Phillip Noyce has come onboard to develop a remake of the classic swashbuckler “Captain Blood” for Warner Bros. with an eye toward directing.
Warner is developing “Captain Blood” as a possible U.K./Australian co-production. Bill Gerber is producing. Read more
