Funimation Posts Free 1st Episodes of 4 Anime on iTunes
Anime New Network has some cool info about some free downloads on iTunes…
The North American anime distributor FUNimation has begun offering the first episodes of the Afro Samurai, Burst Angel, Basilisk, and MoonPhase anime series for free on the iTunes Store service. The FUNimation 4 Episode Sampler requires an account on the iTunes Store in the United States. The first episode of Witchblade debuted on iTunes for free last month.
FUNimation’s own website is also offering selected episodes of Aquarion, Baki the Grappler, Black Blood Brothers, Burst Angel, Glass Fleet, Gunslinger Girl, Guyver, Kiddy Grade, MoonPhase, Mushishi, Ouran High School Host Club, Ragnarök, School Rumble Season 2, Shikabane Hime, Shin-chan, Shuffle!, Solty Rei, and Suzuka.

Witchblade Anime Episode One Available Free On iTunes

Funimation and Top Cow Productions, Inc. are excited to announce “Witchblade — The Anime Series” is now available on iTunes. Fans can download the first episode for free from now until October 26th.
From the renowned anime studio GONZO, Witchblade is the saga of a woman who must bear the burden of a terrible force of destruction known as the Witchblade. Based on the comic book series from Top Cow Productions, the anime series goes into the future to tell the tale of a new bearer of the Witchblade and the conspiracy that surrounds her burden. Witchblade is the first U.S. comic book property to be made into an anime.
Masane Amaha is a woman on the fringe of society, bouncing rootless from town to town with no memory of the past and no clue as to what the future holds. But upon her arrival back in Tokyo, chance and circumstance conspire to unleash the fury of the Witchblade. The ancient weapon stirs. Conscripted into the service of the Doji Group and hunted down by the emissaries of the NSWF, Masane will find herself an unwilling ground zero for the swelling chaos fast approaching.
A new bearer of the Witchblade has been chosen. As she stands on the brink of destiny, she is forced to seek the balance between ecstasy and ruin.

Robotech Series Available On iTunes

Anime News Network reports that Robotech, 1985′s American edited and rewritten adaptation of three different anime series, is being posted on Apple’s online iTunes Store. The Robotech: The Macross Saga adaptation of The Super Dimension Fortress Macross has been added on Tuesday. The Robotech Masters (The Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross) will be added next week, and The New Generation (Genesis Climber Mospeada) will be added early next month. No word has been given on the online release of their Japanese counterparts.
