Jason Statham Wants To Do ‘Daredevil’

Tough guy JASON STATHAM wants to show BEN AFFLECK how to be a proper DAREDEVIL.
The Brit was linked to a remake of Affleck’s 2003 film when fans of the comicbook hero spotted him and creator Frank Miller in a bar, and Statham admits the idea isn’t too far fetched.
He tells WENN, “Someone thought it would be a good combination and I thought maybe it would. I’m a big comicbook fan and Daredevil, the one that got made not so long ago, I thought they could’ve done a better job with it.
“If they want to put me and Frank Miller together and do one, let’s have a look at a script.”

Transporter 3 Set For Thanksgiving 08 Release

I really liked the first movie and the second one has grown on me a bit over time, so we’ll see what happens the third time around. Jason Statham is a great action star and has a ton of charisma, so I hope Hollywood doesn’t continue to overuse him.
Lionsgate has acquired U.S. and Canadian distribution rights to the upcoming EuropaCorp-produced third “Transporter” movie.
Jason Statham returns as iconic action hero Frank Martin, and is joined by Robert Knepper (“Prison Break”) and returning cast member Francois Berleand.
The project wrapped principal photography in early May and is currently in post-production.
The studio has set a Thanksgiving release for the film on November 26th 2008.
